Urban Planning / Civic Leadership / Strategic Consulting / Advocacy
I inspire and facilitate revolutionary changes that make our cities more functional, safe, accessible, beautiful, and vibrant places for everyone.
After getting my Master in Urban Planning from Harvard University, I spent nearly 15 years in San Francisco at MKThink, an architecture, strategy, and innovation firm.
There, I progressed in my career from Urban Planner to Director of Strategy and specialized in Higher Education Strategic Planning and K-12 Facilities Asset Management. The teams I led leveraged user research and data analytics to shape major design projects for our clients, including Stanford University, University of California at Berkeley, North Monterey County Unified School District, and Oakland Unified School District.
I’ve been instrumental in projects for the Port of San Diego, local developers, and business districts. I serve as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for San Diego’s Downtown Community Planning Council and co-founded Walk n Roll San Diego, a non-profit that is remaking our streets into safe and inspiring places for all people, whether they walk or roll.
